Apple Fritters

Ingredients

- ¾ C Flour
- 2 T Sugar
- 1 t Baking Powder
- 1 t Cinnamon
- 1 Egg
- 1 t Vanilla
- 2½ T Milk or Almond Milk
- 1 T Oil
- 2 T Apple Sauce
- ½ T Lemon Juice
- 1 C Granny Smith Apples, diced
Glaze
- 1 C Powdered Sugar
- 2 T Milk or Almond Milk
Instructions

Mix dry ingredients until combined, then add egg, vanilla, milk, oil, applesauce, lemon juice; mix.

Fold in diced apples.

Drop large dollops onto lined sheet, drizzle tops with oil.

Bake on 400 for 10 minutes until deep golden brown.

If bottoms aren't golden, flip and bake 2-3 more minutes.

Combine glaze ingredients until smooth.

Spread thin glaze layer on lined sheet.

Cool fritters 10 minutes, dip tops in glaze, set on glazed sheet so bottoms get some too.
Note
Best fresh. Store leftovers in fridge and reheat in oven.
