Breadsticks

Yield: 40

Ingredients

  • 1 C Water, warm
  • 2¼ t Dry Yeast
  • 2 T Honey
  • ¼ C Olive Oil
  • 2½ C Flour
  • ½ C High Gluten Flour
  • 2 t Salt
  • Toppings: rosemary, garlic, sea salt...

Instructions

    Combine water and yeast, sit 10 minutes.

    Mix in honey and oil, then 2 C flour, high gluten flour and salt.

  3. 3

    Knead to smooth dough, adding flour as needed.

  4. 4

    Rest 10 minutes, shape into 14x4" rectangle.

    Brush with oil, cover, rise 1 hour.

  6. 6

    Brush with oil, divide in 4.

  7. 7

    One at a time, press toppings in, cut to length, twist.

  8. 8

    Place on lined sheets.

  9. 9

    Bake on 450 for 10-12 minutes.
