Chocolate Cheese Cookies

Ingredients

Recipe

  • 6 T Margarine, cold
  • 2 T Oil
  • 5 T Sugar
  • ½ C Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 C + 1-2 T Flour
  • 5 T Cocoa
  • ½ t Baking Soda
  • 1½ t Corn Starch
  • Chopped Chocolate

Chunks

  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, room temp
  • 3 T Powdered Sugar
  • ½ t Vanilla
  • 1-2 T Milk

Instructions

    Cream cheese chunks: mix all ingredients with electric mixer until combined, spread on lined sheet, freeze.

    Dough: beat margarine, oil, sugars till fluffy.

  3. 3

    Beat in egg, then dry ingredients (start with 1 C flour, add 1-2 T more so dough is thicker than average).

    Fold in chocolate.

    Freeze 30 minutes.

    Cut frozen cream cheese into chunks.

    Shape cookies adding chunks, saving some for top.

    Top each cookie with 1-2 chunks.

    Bake on 400 for 5 minutes.

    Remove, bang pan a little, bake 4-5 more minutes.
