Chocolate Chip Cheese Buns

- 1½ oz Fresh Yeast
- ¾ C Water, warm
- ½ C Sugar
- 5 C Flour
- ½ C Orange Juice
- 1 Egg
- 1 C Margarine
Save whites
- 2 Egg yolks
Filling
- 1 lb Cream Cheese, whipped
- ¾ C Sugar
- 1 T Vanilla Sugar
- ⅓-½ C Mini Chocolate Chips
Filling — save white
- 1 Egg yolk
Instructions

Dough: combine yeast, warm water, half the sugar, sit 10 minutes.

Add rest of sugar and ingredients.

Start with 4 C flour, mix to soft elastic dough, add more as needed.

Cover, rise 1 hour to double.

Filling: beat all except chocolate chips, fridge.

Divide dough in 2.

For each: roll into rectangle, spread half filling, sprinkle chocolate chips.

Roll up from long side, slice into 15 buns (2-3 fingers thick — bigger = drier).

Transfer to greased muffin tins (fine if don't fill — will rise).

Repeat.

Brush with reserved egg whites.

Rise as oven preheats.

Bake on 350 for 25-30 minutes until golden.

Cool, remove from tins.
