Lemon Chiffon Cake

Yield: 9x13 or Baking Sheet

Ingredients

  • 2 C Flour
  • 3 t Baking Powder
  • 1½ C Sugar
  • ½ C Oil
  • 7 Eggs, separated
  • ½ C Cold Water
  • 2 T Lemon Juice
  • 2 T Orange Juice

Instructions

    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside.

    Combine dry, add egg yolks, water and juices, beat until combined.

  3. 3

    Fold in egg whites.

  4. 4

    Bake on 350 for about 40 minutes until toothpick comes clean (a dry crumb is fine).

  5. 5

    For baking sheet, start with 18 minutes.
