Tahini Brownies

Yield: 8x8

Ingredients

Recipe

  • ½ C Margarine
  • 4 oz Chocolate
  • 1⅓ C Sugar
  • 1 t Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 C Flour
  • 2 T Cocoa

Swirl

  • Tahini

Frosting

  • Tahini
  • Brown Sugar
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Almond Milk

Instructions

    Melt margarine and chocolate on low.

    Mix in sugar.

    Cool slightly, mix in egg and vanilla.

  4. 4

    Add flour and cocoa.

  5. 5

    Pour into pan, swirl in tahini.

  6. 6

    Bake on 350 for 30-40 minutes.

    Set 30-45 minutes.

    For frosting: combine tahini, brown sugar, and enough water to smooth.

    In separate bowl mix almond milk and powdered sugar into glaze.

    Combine — should be thick frosting.

    Adjust with tahini/powdered sugar/almond milk.

    Spread on set brownies.

Note

Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
